This guy was not as big on the ground as he was in the scope, if you know what I mean. He aged out at 4 1/2- 5 years old and was battle scarred. I spotted him bedded down on Sunday and took him on Monday. Not a wall-hanger, but glad to get him.

You know with all the woods around me I have a menagerie of wild animals.  Lately I have noticed rabbits and squirrels disappearing. The other day I took this photo of a fox hunting behind our house.  I sure don’t miss the squirrels but I wish he’d leave the rabbits alone.

I bet you did not tell him to leave the rabbits alone.  Now that is a sporting chance on a fox hunt.
